So Many Pesky Self-Doubts During Isolation

I don’t know about you, but being in isolation during social distancing is bringing up a lot of thoughts.

Not that I don’t have the tendency to overthink in general.

I’m going to call these “isolation thoughts”.

  • How on earth did my parents homeschool me?

  • My brain is dying, who’s going to hire me?

  • This is the worst time to take a year off

  • I’m so useless, I should have written a book during this time

  • My toddler is going to be the death of me

  • I don’t think I’ll ever be motivated again

Whatever thoughts you’re having,
they’re normal. Allow yourself to feel crazy.

If you’re a solopreneur or someone that has a side project/hustle,
created a whole new set of doubts. You feel even more uncertain.

I know because I’m in the same position.

What’s In It?

I’m tackling the 3 Major Self-Doubts
You’re Having Right Now &
Giving You The Antidotes For Them.

Especially if you’ve been working hard on building an audience, putting yourself out there, or offering a new product/service.

Isolation is making you question your every move. I mean, people have enough worries without YOU trying to reach them, right?

I’m Late To The Game.

I’m A Nobody.

I Feel Uncertain.

Why These Doubts & Why Now?

I get it, even under normal circumstances you have these self-doubts. What’s so different now?

Well, everything is THAT much more accentuated during social distancing and isolation. Our fears, our worries, our anxieties. But also our hopes and dreams.  We have so much more time now to THINK, which can sometimes (always!) be problematic.

Maybe prior to this crisis, you were having a hard time posting your face on social media, sharing your experiences in your blog, or trying to market your product/service because selling doesn’t feel genuine. I get it – these are normal introverted struggles. But maybe you were also progressing on those fronts.

But now, these self-doubts are paralyzing you because the landscape has changed drastically.

You might be thinking:
People have enough to worry about, they don’t care about what I have to say.

Or you might think:
I’m just going wait for this to pass and THEN focus on my objectives.

You have to fight these self-doubts now more than ever, there’s no time to waste.
