Social Anxiety and social media can co-exist peacefully.

Social media is inescapable. If you’re one of the few people that has managed to delete it completely from your life, I bow to you. It is NOT easy by any means to detach yourself, although it’s definitely a worthy action to pursue. Unfortunately, the pull is so strong that even with all the willpower in the world, we’ll always want to take a quick sneak peek to see what people are doing. It’s just human nature.

Now, if you’ve never posted anything in life but you like to use social media as an observer, this post isn’t for you. I’m talking to you if you have Social Anxiety AND you want to post publicly (or are already posting) on social media.

Maybe you’ve been posting privately, only for your friends and family to see what you’re up to, but now you aspire to be an influencer or a business owner. Now, you have to *gasp* promote yourself and show up in ways you never have before.

Cue Social Anxiety showing up.

I know the feeling all too well because I’m dealing with this every time I post something. I triple-question everything, and some days I want to hide because I feel like, at any moment in time, the world will explode on me and tell me to take a hike because of x, y, and z.

So, if you feel like this too, I wrote a post on Limitbreaker’s website with 3 tips to help you navigate social media if you have Social Anxiety.

Social Anxiety and social media do not have to be on opposite ends of each other.

Hopefully, you implement the tips I offer and start feeling more comfortable with social media.
